Local Delivery of Antibiotics
Local delivery of antibiotics is done in conjunction with a deep cleaning or during periodontal maintenance on certain periodontal pockets. Our office utilizes a minocycline microsphere powder that is inserted into the periodontal pocket to help decrease bleeding and to locally treat isolated pockets.
