Lasers in Periodontics and Implant Therapy

State of the art technology has allowed for laser therapy to be an integral part of our periodontal and implant practice. Laser surgery is so precise that healthy surrounding tissue is scarcely affected.
Our CO2 laser gives us an exceptional level of control in performing certain periodontal procedures.
Some advantages to using a laser include:
-Due to minimal absorption depth of the laser, underlying or surrounding tissue strutures cannot be damaged or compromised
-Less use of anesthetic and perfect coagulation, resulting in less pain, swelling and bleeding
-Bacteria reducing properties
