Dr. Kim earned his Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the National Dental Honor Society, and was one of a select group of students chosen to participate in the Implant and TMJ Honors Programs.
Following dental school, Dr. Kim completed a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, gaining additional experience in comprehensive and medically complex patient care. He then went on to complete specialty training in Periodontics and Implantology at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a distinction held by periodontists who have demonstrated excellence in their field through rigorous clinical and written examinations.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Kim serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the New York University College of Dentistry, where he teaches in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, mentoring periodontal residents in both surgical and clinical techniques.
