MEET DR. Lois B. Levine, DDS
Following a Bachelor of Art from Vassar College in 1981, Dr. Levine received her DDS from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1985. In 1988, she earned her Certificate in Periodontics from the New York University College of Dentistry and has a certificate from the Harvard Implant Seminars (1989–1990).
Dr. Levine is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is the past Director of Periodontics at New York Hospital Medical Center at Queens and also maintains a staff position at Long Island Jewish Medical Center Periodontics Section.
She is a former Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Levine is a member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau County Dental Society, where she served as president from 1999–2000. She is the past president of Queens-Long Island Women’s Dental Study Club and is active in many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology. She is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Levine specializes in cosmetic periodontal procedures.
