Dr. Leslie G. Batnick, DDS
Following a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Dr. Batnick received his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 1977. He received his Certificate in Periodontics in 1979.
Dr. Batnick has expert training in Dental Implantology and holds a certificate from Harvard Seminars in Implant Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the American Society of Osseointegration. Dr. Batnick is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Batnick is currently on staff at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Periodontics Section. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Implant and Periodontal Departments at New York University College of Dentistry. He is currently President of the Integrated Dental Studies Group and Past President of Long Island Academy of Periodontics (1991–1993).
Presently, Dr. Batnick is a Director and an Examiner of the American Board of Periodontology. In that position, he tests American and international periodontists in their attempt to attain Diplomate of the Board status.
He is a committee member of and has lectured nationally for the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
